PROJECT OVERVIEW | Construction of 4km of 250mm to 406mm MSCL welded pipework for the third runway upgrade at the Brisbane Airport. The project involved working in tight difficult conditions around the main car park area including night works to cross the southern cross way whilst maintaining traffic flow to and from airport. Working closely with client and stakeholders to deliver project efficiently. • This project demonstrated experience in laying Mild Steel Cement Lined (MSCL) Pipeline; • Arc Welding Steel Pipes and Fittings; • Collaborative experience of working together with other project stakeholders and land owners and examples of beneficial outcomes; • Achievement of satisfactory work quality within required timeframes; • Performance in managing work health and safety on construction sites; • Environmental management performance. |

ACHIEVEMENTS | • Moody’s was commissioned to complete the water supply, sewerage, and recycled water pipeline work on an hourly rate basis following the collapse of the previous contractor. Moody’s worked collaboratively with Brisbane Airport Corporation and McDowell to complete works and enable progress with runway works. | • Safe Work on-site and throughout the project. • Achievement of satisfactory work quality within required timeframes; • Performance in managing work health and safety on construction sites; • Environmental management performance |
